Swicy Cerveza
A Salute to Simplicity

The easiest drink on this whole site. An ice-cold light lager and one slow squeeze of Margaheata® Swicy Syrup. No shaker, no jigger, no stirring, no prep. Add it right in the bottle, the can, or the glass. Prefer it 0% ABV? There's a full mocktail version of this recipe.

Make the 0% ABV version: Swicy Cerveza Mocktail.
Ingredients
- 12 oz ice-cold light American lager (we tested it in Coors Light)
- 1/4 oz Margaheata® Swicy Syrup
- Lime wedge (optional)
Instructions
- 1Open an ice-cold light lager, or pour one into a chilled glass.
- 2Going straight into the bottle or can? Take one sip first to make room.
- 3Add 1/4 oz Margaheata® Swicy Syrup, pouring slowly. Beer is carbonated, so a fast pour will foam it up.
- 4That's it. No stirring. It blends into the beer on its own.
Pro Tip
Beer is the one exception to our pour rule. Everywhere else, 1/4 oz is a 1-second squeeze counted "Swi-cy." Into a beer, it's the same 1/4 oz at half the speed, so stretch it out and pour gently or the carbonation foams up on you. Stick with a crisp light lager: beer already brings a little sweetness of its own, which is why the heat lands subtle instead of sharp. Hoppy, bitter styles like IPAs are a different animal and we haven't tested them.
