Grapefruit + Fresh Pepper Heat

The margarita's cooler cousin gets a sweet heat upgrade. Fresh grapefruit meets Margaheata® for a refreshing, effervescent cocktail that's perfect for warm weather. Want it 0% ABV? Skip the tequila and top with grapefruit soda — the mocktail still drinks like a craft highball.
Ingredients
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice (or Jarritos Grapefruit)
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz Margaheata® Swicy Syrup
- Club soda to top
- Grapefruit wedge and salt rim (optional)
Instructions
- 1If desired, rim a highball glass with salt.
- 2Fill the glass with ice.
- 3Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and Margaheata® Swicy Syrup.
- 4Stir gently to combine.
- 5Top with club soda.
- 6Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
Pro Tip
Mocktail version: drop the tequila and fresh grapefruit juice. Build in a highball over ice with 1/2 oz fresh lime + 1/4 oz Margaheata®, then top with ~5 oz grapefruit soda (Jarritos, Squirt, or Ting). Salt rim optional. Same crisp sweet heat at 0% ABV. Pour trick: 1/4 oz = a 1-second squeeze. Count "Swi-cy" as you pour.
